HISTORY
After 26 years at a local accounting firm, George A. Hieronymus formed George A. Hieronymus & Co. on July 1, 1987. At this time, his son, Mark E. Hieronymus joined him and later became a partner in 1991. Patricia M. Bessonen joined the team in June 1993, becoming a partner on January 1, 1996. On January 1, 1998, John J. Sheldon and John W. Jeffries became partners after 10 and 8 years, respectively, in practice with the firm. On January 1, 1999, George A. Hieronymus & Co. merged with the CPA firm of Hudson, Gaillard & Jones, LLC, becoming the current firm of Hieronymus, Gaillard & Jones, LLC. After 8 years of service, Peter D’Olive became a partner with the firm on January 1, 2000. Today our firm has five partners, six staff CPA’s, two CPA candidates and five permanent support staff members, totaling over 300 years of experience.

We participate in the AICPA peer review program, which includes an examination of our practice by an outside firm every three years. We have received an unqualified opinion with each review including our most recent review in the summer of 2006. |
